How to Add a Timer to the Cart Page

Encourage faster checkout by adding urgency to the cart page.

Step-by-Step Instructions​

  1. Create or edit a timer: Go to Timers and create a new timer or edit an existing one.
  2. Choose layout: Select a layout that works well on the cart page, such as "Top", "Bottom", or "Container".
  3. Configure timer type: Choose either One-time (for specific cart page campaigns) or Recurring (for always-on urgency).
  4. Set targeting: In the "Targeting" section, check the box for "Cart page" under "Show on pages".
  5. Optional - Exclude empty cart: To show the timer only when items are in the cart, you would need to implement additional Shopify Liquid logic, but the app will show on the cart page regardless of contents.
  6. Activate and save: Ensure "Active" is checked and click "Save".

Result: Your timer will appear on the cart page, encouraging customers to complete their purchase before time runs out.
