How to Use Timer as an App Block

For maximum placement control, use the timer as an App Block in your Shopify theme.

Prerequisites

• Your Shopify theme must support app blocks (most modern themes do).
• You need a timer already created in the app.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Get the Timer ID:
   1. Go to Timers and click on the timer you want to use.
   2. Scroll to the "Targeting" section.
   3. Find the Timer ID displayed in a highlighted box.
   4. Click the copy button (clipboard icon) next to the ID.
2. Set theme editor type:
   1. In the same "Targeting" section, find "Theme editor type".
   2. Select "Apps block".
   3. Click "Save" to update the timer.
3. Open the theme editor:
   1. Go to Online Store > Themes.
   2. Find your current theme and click "Customize".
4. Navigate to the desired page: Use the top dropdown to select the page type where you want to add the timer (e.g., Home page, Product page, Collection page).
5. Add the app block:
   1. Click "Add block" or "Add section" (depending on your theme).
   2. Look for the "Apps" category.
   3. Select "Ultima Countdown Timer".
6. Configure the block:
   1. In the block settings, paste the Timer ID you copied earlier.
   2. Some themes may allow additional block settings like alignment or spacing.
7. Position the block: Drag the block to your desired position in the page layout.
8. Save the theme: Click "Save" in the theme editor.

Result: The timer appears exactly where you placed the block, giving you pixel-perfect control over its position.
