How to Create an Evergreen Timer

Create a timer that shows the same duration for every visitor, perfect for ongoing promotions.

What You'll Need​

  • The duration you want to display (e.g., 2 hours, 30 minutes)
  • Your promotional message

Step-by-Step Instructions​

  1. Navigate to Timers: Go to Timers from the app dashboard.

  2. Create a new timer: Click "Create timer".

  3. Choose a template: Select the "Bottom" or "Full screen" template depending on your preference.

  4. Configure Basic Settings:

    • Timer name: Enter "Flash Sale Evergreen".
    • Timer type: Select "Recurring".

  5. Set the duration: In the "Recurring Timer Configuration" section:

    • Days: 0 (or 1 for a 24-hour timer)
    • Hours: 2
    • Minutes: 30
    • Seconds: 0

    This creates a timer that always shows "02:30:00" counting down to zero, resetting on page refresh.

  6. Add your content: In the "Content" section:

    • Timer title: "Flash Sale Ends In"
    • Timer description: "Limited time offer - don't miss out!"
    • Button text: "Grab the Deal"
    • Button URL: "/collections/flash-sale"

  7. Set targeting: Choose where to show this timer (e.g., all pages or specific collections).

  8. Activate and save: Check "Active" and click "Save".

Result: Every visitor sees a timer counting down from 2 hours 30 minutes, creating consistent urgency.
