How to Configure Post-Expiration Actions

Control what happens after your one-time timer reaches zero.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Edit your one-time timer: Open the timer you want to configure.

  2. Scroll to "After Expiration": Find this section near the bottom of the form.

  3. Choose an action: Select from the dropdown menu:

    Option A: Show zero

    The timer displays 00:00:00 after expiration. No additional configuration needed.

    Option B: Hide timer

    The timer disappears completely. No additional configuration needed.

    Option C: Show message

    1. Select "Show message" from the dropdown.
    2. The "Expired Message Settings" section will appear.
    3. Enter your Expired message (e.g., "SALE STARTED! - 30% OFF").
    4. Set Message color and Message font size (desktop and mobile).

    Option D: Redirect page

    1. Select "Redirect page" from the dropdown.
    2. The "Redirect URL" field will appear.
    3. Enter the URL where customers should be redirected (e.g., "/collections/new-arrivals" or "https://example.com").
  4. Save: Click "Save" to apply the expiration behavior.

Example Scenarios

  • Flash sale: Use "Hide timer" to clean up the page after the sale ends.
  • Product launch: Use "Show message" to display "NOW AVAILABLE!" after countdown.
  • Campaign transition: Use "Redirect page" to send customers to a new campaign page.
